After stumbling across Projectionist and being pleasantly surprised, I started to catch on to this new meme called tumblelog. Basically it’s about blogging small snipets of stuff, from lyrics, to IM transcripts to quotes to anythingh really, but with each bit in its own distinct look & feel.
- RedHanded and Kottke give an overview of the ‘phenomenon’.
- Tumbletumble is an other example of a tumblelog.
- Lifecapsules might be the first real CMS for this thing.

Kind of online graffiti? Just like comment trails.
And ‘Blog this’ in flock should become ‘Thumble this’!
Yeah, like writing graffiti on the walls of your own house. :-) I think it’s about forking parts of all the different incoming streams of information to a public place.
I start experimenting with my own tumbelog last week at http://thestashspot.com. It’s an interesting experiment.
